Kristine Brookshire is a Southern Californian artist who finds inspiration in California’s beautiful and diverse surroundings: from the desert to the ocean.
Kristine has the unique ability to fuse skilled drawings with abstract shapes and colors. Her infusion of geometric designs, bold brush strokes, and color combinations pushes her art from realism to the abstract.
Since she could hold a pencil, Kristine has been drawing. As a child, she aspired to be a courtroom sketch artist because of her love of portraiture. Then she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California, and continued in her art after that finding beauty in the world around her.
